The forensics module was one of the more interesting modules. It was very enjoyable learning about fingerprints and all the different areas of a crime scene. We looked in tire marks and how investigators meticulously gather evidence from a crime scene. We looked into the lab detectives that can uncover huge amounts of evidence analyzing different physical pieces of evidence. We also looked into DNA and how it can play a vital role in a conviction. Overall I really enjoyed this module I found it to be interesting and exciting.

The mindfulness was another very enjoyable module, it was extremely nice taking a relaxing hour out of your day. We learned about mental health and how important it is. We talked about stress and how it can drastically affect someone's life. We also practiced mindful meditation which was great to take a break from the constant screaming shouting and work of a normal day. Overall I really enjoyed the mindfulness module and would love to do it again.
The R.S.E module was very educational. It was very worthwhile learning about various diseases and infections so that we are more aware of life. We were also thought a lot about our mental health and how important it is. It wasn't my favorite module but no doubt it was a very informative one.
The careers module was a very worthwhile class. It gave me a large insight into all the different options I have for college. I learned about the possible options abroad in the UK and The Netherlands. We also covered our CAO points and requirements for different universities. The module really helped me to further understand the requirements I will have to fill and tasks to complete when searching for a course and career to suit me. I also learned about my interests and what would suit me best. Careers portal was a great help with this. Overall I enjoyed the module and found to to be time well spent.
The health and safety module thought me many things that I would never have recognized prior to the module. Things that I wouldn't have noticed before that I now do such as the specific design of stairs to reduce the chance of injury or the many safety features built into buildings. I also learned about risk evaluation and the proper definition of risk and a hazard. In one of our classes, we also learned to lift things properly to avoid muscle injury or hard to our bodies. We practiced these techniques by lifting a bag of clay across the classroom. Overall I enjoyed this module and I think what I learned could come into use in my life.I have just completed the pottery module, this module installed a number of new tasks for me. Before this module, i had only done very basic pottery in junior school, basic things like making a pot and painting it. While doing pottery for the past 6 weeks I have learned that there is so much more involved. I did new things such as using professional tools to sculpt with, I learned about firing and cooking the clay before glazing. In pottery class, i made a nameplate for myself. If is a slab of clay with my initials in 3D on top. After finishing my piece I let it dry and then fired it. This prepares the clay for glazing. I then glazed my name plate in green and red stripes. The glazing makes the piece very strong and gives it its color. Overall I really enjoyed the pottery module, I thought it was a good break from the classroom to do something practical.I have been doing Public Speaking as one of my model classes for the past 5 weeks. Over the course of the 5 weeks as a class, we were preparing for the public speaking exam which we did last week. My speech was about space exploration in the past and major new innovation coming from private entities such as Space X. Throughout the Public Speaking module, I learned to implement new skills such as expressing using body language, use gesticulation and the more passionate you are about the topic the better the speech will be.
